Island Lift Privacy: Wallet Data and Fonts

This guide examines the observed data storage and third-party resources used in the Island Lift demo, focusing on wallet persistence and external scripts. It clarifies that no account is required and no blanket privacy claims are made about server processing.

Read the Island Lift rules to understand the checkpoint mechanics and payout structure.

Wallet Storage and Fractional Carry

The Island Lift demo saves your wallet state in the browser's localStorage under the key ph4apk_island_wallet_v1. This storage includes your whole coin balance and an integer fractional carry ranging from 0 to 99. The fractional carry is preserved separately and added to the next gross settlement, ensuring no value is lost during a crash or refill. Reloading the page does not resume an unfinished round, but the saved balance and carry remain intact.

Third-Party Scripts and Fonts

The demo page loads Google Fonts stylesheets and font resources declared by the build process. It also includes a Statinside counter.js script and a noscript pixel for analytics. While these resources are declared, their complete server-side behavior and data processing methods have not been fully established. Clearing your browser cache does not remove this site's localStorage data.

Data Collection and Processing

The demo is playable in the browser without an account or payment form. This does not establish anonymity or a complete account of data processing. The Statinside counter and Google Fonts can involve third-party requests; provider behavior, server retention and recipients have not been established by this guide.

Frequently asked questions

Does Island Lift save my unfinished round?

No, the demo does not save the state of an active round. Reloading the page abandons the current lift, but your saved wallet balance and fractional carry are preserved in localStorage.

Is my data anonymous?

The demo requires no account, but third-party scripts like Statinside may collect data. The guide observes these tools but does not confirm complete anonymity or detailed server processing rules.
